Aims & Scope

Journal of Water and Climate Change is an Open Access journal that publishes novel peer-reviewed research and practitioner papers on all aspects of water science, technology, management and innovation in response to climate change, with emphasis on reduction of energy usage. Review papers are particularly encouraged. The journal's scope includes but is not limited to articles relating climate change to:

Water-energy-food-greenhouse gas nexus
Policy and practice of adaptation and mitigation of climate change in the water sector
Targets, Technologies and strategies for greenhouse emissions and energy reduction in the water sector
Evidence of current climate change occurring and historic trends
Detection and attribution of climate change
Role of GCMs/RCMs in climate change impact assessment
Uncertainty assessment in impact studies
Remote sensing and GIS for climate change impact assessment
Urban planning addressing climate change
Hydrology
Predictive modelling of water resources
Extreme events (floods, rainstorms, droughts, temperature)
