"Scientists and engineers depend much on academic journals for the exchange of information. Today, online journals have become more convenient than print versions for readers. However, in most cases papers are only available from subscription sources, which hinders the quick exchange of ideas related to the latest research progress. I believe that in the near future all journals will be open to the public, but now is only the beginning. The H2Open Journal is a good start for IWA journals as it will increase access to articles and therefore their readership and citation rate."
